Of the twins, Fiona is definitely the louder of the two. She isn't afraid to speak her mind - something that used to get her in trouble when she was younger - and, like her father, has a fierce sense of loyalty. She believes that nothing can be gained unless some semblance of risk is taken. There are risks that people take every day and part of her feeling - and that of her family (for the most part) - stands firm.
From a personal and non professional/extracurricular side of things, Fi and her sister Alice - identical twins - are extremely close. This isn't to say that she isn't close to both of her siblings but she and Alice are extremely close, to the extent that sometimes they don't have to speak to know what the other is saying. Despite her tough exterior, Fiona is a very sensitive soul who in her younger days used to compose poetry, but that was back before there was such a thing for her as perspective on the world beyond their parents' home.
A big quidditch fan, like her mother Fi was a Chaser during school. And something of a troublemaker. She is playful and has this way of both being one of the 'cool' kids, while having a knack for doing thigns and then getting out of trouble. Which only makes it more interesting becuase her father is a staff member. It's a challenge, and she never turns down a challenge.
Fi has a very low tolerance for stupid people, one of the reasons she isn't certain she was cut out for politics... especially given what passes for politics in this day and age. And a troublemaker! Especially when Jamie is involved.
Above all else, Fi is a person with many layers. She doesn't do what's necessarily expected of her, and certainly doesn't look the type to do what she does - playing one side of the token against the other to bring about the preferred outcome, but she does. She's not the oldest, she's not the youngest, but she has a heavy sense of responsibility to her family, friends and loved ones; possibly the reason the Sorting Hat was split in wanted to place her in Gryffindor all those years ago.

Living in a world that by many is silently thought to be upside down, Fiona Rochelle Longbottom was born on 25 March, 2002 at St. Mungos' Hospital in Diagon Alley. One of four children of Neville Longbottom and Michelle Longbottom-Moon, Fiona - often called Fi or Pixie - and her twin sister Alice joined in the nursery at 12:46 in the morning after more than eight hours of labor.
A member of a very close family, Fiona grew up alongside her siblings and cousins, their family keeping a close eye on both what they told the children and the political climate surrounding them. At younger ages it was feared that things could be repeated, but there was a very clear message that ran through the family that just because it was being done a certain way did not necessarily mean it was right. While not an outright teaching, and something that was rarely if ever openly said, it largely went without saying, and there were times when one parent, both parents or an aunt or uncle would leave their children with the other relations for sleep overs, disappearing on 'business' of unknown origins. But none of this made any real difference to Fi until later in life. The family's status - in the upper echelons - was a factor to behavior. But for rather complicated reasons.
The Longbottom family was comprised of three siblings Fiona, Alice and Frank – all three named after their grandparents. Family was family and they protected one another - just like the family motto stated. For much of their childhood, while aware of it, the way the world was was the status quo. It was the way it had always been, except there were stories of a time when it hadn't been. But as a youngster Fi couldn't help but think that was sometime a million years ago, which in kid's terms it had been. It was dark, not something noticed in the moments of early childhood, but in hindsight it often becomes clearer. Fiona's early years were spent in happy ignorance, having neither the capacity nor the scope to know precisely what was wrong with the world around her, nor why people looked down on other people.
But things were not all bad. There were advantages that the family name brought to them, and for the most part there was a largely normal childhood had by them. There were family outings - many of which included the whole or most of the entire family: concerts, Quidditch to watch their great-uncle commentate and of course events. And as they grew older and understood more, the world began making more sense and they were introduced to many different thing, some quite possibly viewed as subversive, though they did not know it then.
At the age of ten Fiona and Alice received their Hogwarts letters - leaving home, they followed Frank and cousins Aiden and Astrid (their great-uncle Liam's children) in attending the school. Admittedly, the daughter of two Gryffindors, the granddaughter of three Gryffindors and the niece of a Gryffindor and a Hufflepuff, it was understandable that there was something of a familial bias when their great-uncle had started a small betting pool amongst their family and friends. With many of their children going off, it was assumed that at least a few of the Longbottom children would be sorted thus, Fiona's odds (she was told) were good that she would be one, but the Sorting Hat wasn't so certain. Upon being called to the stool, the artifact was split and Fiona could hear it speaking in her head, trying to decide between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff. Gryffindor it said being the obvious choice. Fiona had been precocious growing up, but her family ties came before almost everything. Thus it came as no surprise to her relatives - who knew her to be gutsy - when she was sorted into Gryffindor - the same house as her parents - where she soon found a niche for herself.
Finding herself with only enough of her mother's potions ability to squeeze by with a passing grade, where Fiona excelled were spell-based classes: Defense Against the Dark Arts, Charms and Transfiguration, the same could not be said of Arithmancy - which she dropped halfway through the term - or Herbology, which she felt terrible about, because her father was the professor. Eventually the entirety of the clan was at the school at once. It was an interesting time for all... interesting was probably the best word to describe it given the chaos that often surrounded them.
While she was rather average academically (mostly, the classes she excelled in balanced by those she did not), where Fiona shone was on the Quidditch field. Having joined the team as a chaser in her third year, by halfway through the season she had a starting position, and a nickname of her own - Phoenix. At the time that Fiona joined, the Quidditch team had been in a downward losing streak for the past two years. Her starting position in her first season was thanks to a senior player whose grades had fallen so badly that their head of house had had no choice but to pull them. This gave Fiona her chance, and by the end of the year the team had made it to the Quidditch Cup Finals. They didn't win, but they'd made it farther than they had in the last two seasons, and - whether deserved or not - the team attributed it to Fi, looking at her as a good luck charm and nicknaming her for the mythical bird, causing the team to rise from the ashes of defeat. She stayed on the team for the rest of her time at the school, becoming Team Captain in her last two years!
The granddaughter of aurors and well versed in hexes, charms and transfigurations, it seemed not only fitting, but also a good placement that she herself would go into Auror training. She wanted to and had planned upon graduation… but she never truly made it to graduation. Instead finding herself lost in time with her friend James Sirius Potter. Only time will tell if they get home… which is funny considering that Time got them there in the first place
Appearance: Height: 5'5 Weight: 137 lbs Hair/Eye Colour: Blonde/Blue Defining Marks: Mole behind her left ear, black rose tattoo on her right hip
Standing 5 feet, 5 inches tall, if she had been any shorter she would be considered a pixie, and was for much of her life - until a growth spurt hit when she was 14. Born with a mole behind her left ear - found to be benign - Fiona and her sister both have their mother's face shape and hair but her father's chin, inheriting the blue coloured eyes that her mother so often associated with their maternal grandfather (and their great uncle).
With a form that can pull off both formal and casual styles, Fiona's own style is a combination of classic and modern, leading to a style that - although very unique - is acceptable for both work and play. She favors vintage clothing at work and during her free time, combining her classic style to create a chic look that sets her apart from many others. She has at times been compared to both a modern bohemian and a classic belle, feeling just as comfortable in jeans as she is in a suited skirt or a dress, the truth is that her clothes have a certain feel to them, a certain look that is all her. While she hates pumps with a passion, Fi likes thick heeled boots with rounded toes as they make her feel just a tiny bit taller and prefers silver jeweler to gold - always wearing a silver ring and bracelet on her left hand (fourth finger)/arm.
List of Abilities/Powers: Fiona is a witch. She’s a flier. She wanted to become an Auror when she graduated (and nearly made it to graduation too, before getting pulled from home), and excelled in DADA, Charms and Transfigurations.
